We are recruiting a Children’s Inclusion Worker to start before Christmas (or as soon as possible)
A taste of life here: http://www.littleport.cambs.sch.uk/school-prospectus-summer-2016/
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic person to come and make a difference to the children and families of our school. You will be a key member of staff working closely with all stakeholders and helping to move our school forward as we continue to grow and move on our upward trajectory over the coming years.
This special person will:
Be child-centred and able to work positively and effectively with the families of our children
Be committed to improving outcomes for all pupils
Have an excellent personal and/or professional awareness of the needs of children, parents and schools
Have experience of the family, youth or social work sectors, and in engaging with professionals from beyond school
Be able to form highly positive, effective and productive relationships with children, staff, professionals and families, to bring further improvements to the whole school community
Be playing a key role in improving behaviour, attendance, pupil well-being, parental engagement and meeting the requirements of the Safeguarding agenda
We will be able to offer you:
A welcoming learning environment in a purpose-built school with large grounds including a nature area, wood and allotment.
A highly supportive Governing Body
Skilled and professional staff who have the best interests of children at heart
A school which has recently acquired ‘Research Schools Status’ and will therefore be working with a large number of schools locally and nationally in evidence-based research
We are a two-form entry Primary School of over 400 pupils. We are on an exciting journey of school improvement, where we continue to strive for excellence and where we want the entire school community to ‘spread their wings and fly’.
If our film makes you curious, then please come and see us! Visits to the school are always actively encouraged.
