Year 2 Owls & Woodpeckers
Welcome to Year 2
Owl and Woodpecker Classes!
This term our topic is called “All Creatures Great and Small”. Our creative curriculum topic will have a scientific theme and we will be learning all about life in the local area, including identifying similarities and differences between different habitats as well as in depth studies of the minbeasts that inhabit them. We will also be investigating nocturnal animals.
Don't forget that we have a trip planned for Tuesday 15th July to BeWILDerwood! Please see our reminder letter at the bottom of this page if you have any last minute questions. We are all very excited about it.
Our P.E days are on Wednesdays and a Fridays. We hope the weather will be kind to us this term which means more P.E outside, so please remind your child to bring their full P.E kit including outdoor trainers.
