Firstly, welcome to Year 3!
I hope you all had a relaxing summer break and the children are ready for the new term, which is full of exciting activities and discoveries.
We are lucky to have both Mrs Braybrooke and Mrs Bibby working with Seagull Class this year. Both Teaching Assistants are fantastic fun to have in our class and I am very grateful for the wealth of experience that they bring to our classroom.
This year, our topic is Buildings Through Time. We will be investigating different types of buildings in Littleport and beyond. The children have been very interested in this topic so far and we are all looking forward to doing more research into this.
Our "Takeaway Learning" menu has been sent home and we have already had some fantastic home learning returned to school. I have been especially impressed that some children have already taken on the task on baking their own type of bread. We clearly have some master bakers in the class! We will be learning about bread and baking techniques in DT this term and all children will also have the opportunity to bake bread as part of our curriculum.
If you have any questions or queries regarding school issues then please do not hesitate to contact me. Many thanks for your continued support.
