It's amazing how quickly the year goes but don't worry, we've still got plenty of things to enjoy in the last few weeks!
We are currently developing their writing portfolios as we can assess these later in June. It's really important that children attend school regularly to ensure they have a wide range of completed pieces so we can assess them fairly and accurately.
We're also taking some time to enjoy our school surroundings through some Random Acts of Wildness such as nature art, tree identification and mini-beast hunting. You can see photos of us having fun further down this page.
You've probably noticed that rehearsals have started for our end of year production: Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits. These run much more smoothly when children know their lines so please help them to practise at home. See key dates for performance details.
Finally, an important part of this term is preparing children for their next school. As well as taking part in transition days, children will have the opportunity to discuss any worries in circle time and plan for practicalities such as how they will get to school!
A good way to stay more up-to-date on what's going on in school is by following our twitter account: @LCPS07
As always, do come and see me if you have any questions or would like to come and help in the classroom.

Please ensure your child has the correct kit on the appropriate day. Earrings must not be worn for PE sessions and long hair should be tied back.
To promote healthy eating and to ensure your child stays alert, we recommend that they eat a piece of fresh fruit at break time and a suitable water bottle (clear) is available to use throughout the school day. Please note that children should only be drinking water.
