Foundation: Owlets

Welcome to Owlets Class! Please use this page to find helpful links and to keep updated on resources to help you support your child at home.

You will be able to view your child's learning journey on Tapestry. Please ensure you login with the details we give you to keep up to date with their learning. You are able to share your child's learning and activities that they do at home, which is always great for us to see and share with the class. Please see the links below for any help on how to do this.

P.E Lessons

Please make sure that your child arrives to school in a named P.E. kit. This will consist of a white t-shirt, shorts and plimsolls/trainers (no laces). Please make sure hair is tied back, earrings are removed and that it is weather appropriate. P.E sessions will be on a Tuesday.

Forest School

The children will need to come to school dressed appropriately for Forest School. In wet weather they will need to wear warm clothes and a waterproof coat. Please note that they will need to have their arms and legs covered at all times whatever the weather. They will always need their wellington boots, which should be kept in school at all times.
Forest School will take place on a Friday.

Activities to do at home

How’s the weather? Talk about the type of clothes they need to wear for the type of weather and why.

What day is it? How do you know? What was the day yesterday/tomorrow?

What month is it? How do you know? What happens each month? E.g. Celebrations, traditions, weather.

How do you feel today? Why? Allow children to choose and say the emotions they feel. Encourage them to speak in full sentences.
