Site Officer/Manager Vacancy

Contract type:                   Full time, permanent
Salary:                                 L3 – L4 (£18795 – £21166 ) dependent upon experience
Hours:                                 37 hours per week full time (actual hours worked to be negotiated with the Headteacher dependent on school needs). Additional hours for lettings can be claimed.


Littleport Community Primary is a friendly and welcoming school in the village of Littleport, near Ely.  We currently provide education for 435 children aged 4 – 11 years.

We wish to appoint a capable, enthusiastic and skilled Site Officer/Manager to provide efficient and effective management of our large site. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

●   Excellent time management skills and the ability to use their initiative
●   Problem solving and the ability to identify and overcome potential risks
●   Excellent maintenance and DIY skills
●   An understanding of Health & Safety and relevant legislation
●   An understanding of value for money and the ability to manage and work within a budget
●   Excellent communication skills.

●  Flexibility with working hours


The successful candidate would be expected to work core school hours with flexibility for lettings and events which occur outside of school hours.  This role is 52 weeks per year with working hours during school closures to be agreed with Headteacher.
